Where do poems hide?

Poems hide in the grocery store
In the produce section, woven through the fruits and vegetables
Pick up an apple
Try a pear, or an orange
Tied up in a bunch of grapes
Or blanketed by banana peels
Poems crouch under the broccoli florets
And bed down in the green beans
The next time you choose your lettuce
Your tomatoes
Your eggplants
Keep an ear out by the corn
Keep your eyes open around the potatoes
Poems are hidden everywhere at the grocery store
Don’t forget to add them to your list

My endless stream of musings and rambling thoughts stem from my loquacious tendencies and intrinsic need to communicate with members of society. Mostly this blog is a place for me to talk about my passions - teaching, reading, cooking, my family, my lover - and is a tool for me to work on being more introspective.
