17 – Promiscuous is Just a Fancy Word for Slutty by Isobel Irons

Loved this.  Not entirely, but a more realistic young adult novel.  It was an easy, quick read… I couldn’t put it down.

18 – The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

One of my absolute favorite books.  I was put in the mood to read it after catching the recent version on TV.  The language is just so beautiful.  Probably my 4th or 5th read of this book.

19 – Don’t Let Me Go by Catherine Ryan Hyde

What an incredible story!!!!  I could NOT put this book down.  Told through two perspectives, it is a story filled with fascinating, real characters… It was just perfect.

20 – The Hiding Place Girl by Robin Martin

I just read this book and I’m already beginning to forget what it was about.  I think I was less thrilled with this book more because it followed up Don’t Let Me Go, which was just that good.  This book was interesting enough for me to finish reading it, but not so amazing that I’d truly recommend that you read it.

My endless stream of musings and rambling thoughts stem from my loquacious tendencies and intrinsic need to communicate with members of society. Mostly this blog is a place for me to talk about my passions - teaching, reading, cooking, my family, my lover - and is a tool for me to work on being more introspective.
